Understanding Anxiety for Children, Tweens and Teens

Understanding Anxiety for Children, Tweens and Teens

Anxiety happens when a certain part of your brain thinks there is something it needs to protect you from. It floods the body with special chemicals, which is really important if you are UNSAFE, but sometimes it thinks there is danger, when there really isn’t any and this can leave you feeling awful!

Understanding why anxiety feels the way it does and where the physical symptoms come from is a powerful step in turning anxiety around. The aim of this workshop is to strengthen children and teens against anxiety and towards courage and resilience.

  • Anxiety and YOUR brain
